Cheese Lane Shot Tower -Vertigo Bristol
An agile workspace, in an iconic Bristol landmark.
We were approached to look at ways to best utilise the office space at the foot of the iconic Cheese Lane Shot Tower overlooking Bristol’s floating harbour.
The grade II listed tower built in 1969 was purpose built to replace the first lead shot tower ever built and is only 1 of 3 left standing today.
The design took inspiration from the sites past producing lead shots, by dropping molten lead which would form a perfect sphere by the time it reached the base of the tower.
We looked at ways to incorporate agile working within the sites limited footprint -whilst taking advantage of the amazing river views.
