Focal Point Bristol

A bold, playful, yet relaxed workplace for Cambridge based GPS tech firm.
For their Bristol Office, Focal Point took on a newly refurbished space on the 11th floor of Bristol’s Castlemead with impressive views of the city.
Focal Point wanted a design that reflected their brand, a space that was playful and bold, but at the same time effortlessly functional for their everyday needs.
The design references Focal Points branding, whilst taking inspiration from astrology, and the night sky, which still is, and historically always has been used for navigation. Blue and sand colour tones, metallic finishes and concealed lighting, are softened by light timbers and textured upholstery.
Fully Bespoke.
The kitchen forms the real showpiece of the workplace. Charcoal cabinets are offset with open birch ply drawers, and suspended plywood and oak shelving. Large format terrazzo tiles add a bold playful element, whilst the low level lighting complete the more moody lounge feel. All of the kitchen cabinets and joinery were made fully bespoke to make the most of the space.
“We wanted to partner with a local, independent company that aligned with our intentions; designing an office with a variety of different spaces that allow our people to perform their best work. Introducing different types of meeting spaces, collaborative areas and a bold statement kitchen for socialising, Alteriors delivered both on budget and time.”
“Communicating extensively from start to finish on the design and build, we highly recommend this company to any business owner looking for a company that has the passion to help make your space come to life”
Becky Read - VP People, Focal Point Positioning
“Alteriors executed our brief perfectly and communicated throughout the process. They understood our requirements and helped us build an office space that reflects our culture as well as growth plans. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them.”
