A venue befitting a Bristol institution.
The Bristol Commonwealth Society is a non-profit organisation raising awareness of the Commonwealth’s 54 nations, their people, their cultures and their histories.
The clubroom and bar at the heart of their Bristol home needed an update to reflect the diverse programme of events they run, whilst simultaneously creating a bright multi- function events space that could be hired out to the public.
“Our Club Room and bar was in desperate need of refurbishment. We wanted a fresh, vibrant new look but something also in keeping with the period of the building.”

Transforming the space.
The bar area has been reconfigured and rationalised, creating a modern bar that works for both daytime coffees, and evening cocktails.
The function space is now bright and welcoming, designed to provide the backdrop for a variety of events.
“Mark and his team were tidy and methodical and were actually a joy to have on the premises. I was sorry to see them go, except that I now have a truly fantastic event space and bar.”
